Tony Price

Most of a life-time spent in the film industry now finds me as a self-shooter making programmes on my own that follow charitable and arts interests. Originally a film editor and then a writer/director, I am now tentatively shooting pictures and sound. The process remains hugely difficult and irresistible.

My back-story as a writer/director includes winning awards at IVCA * in London and New York - Ford ‘Care’, RSPCA ‘Food for Protest’. I began to make programmes about mental health (suicide and epilepsy) that led me to start The Cast Iron Film Co and so to a series of four programmes covering dementia for acute sector and care home staff. Useful programme making.
